Students can explore careers in technology, trades, health, and human services through programs such as:

• Career Exploration: Carpentry and Electrical - Take part in activities that teach about careers in construction and manufacturing. Learn about your skills, values, and interests. Explore career paths, training, and certifications that match your goals.

• Exploring Careers and Employment: Learn how to plan your career and prepare for future jobs. Explore different types of work and the skills needed to succeed. Build skills in communication, managing yourself, and teamwork.

• Exploring Technology I: Learn to use technology, engineering, and design journals and the Engineering Design Process. Build and test models for different design challenges. Try out different types of energy sources.

• Exploring Technology II: Design and build systems to reach specific goals. Take things apart to find and fix problems. Create, build, and record models for engineering challenges.

• Engineering: Technological Systems I: Design and build systems to reach goals. Create and record models for different engineering challenges.

• Keyboarding and Basic Word Processing: Get better at typing using the touch method. Practice making simple documents with correct formatting. Build strong typing skills to use technology well.

• Introduction to Office Productivity: Learn about word processing tools and how to use them. Find out how to plan and give a good multimedia presentation. Explore how spreadsheets work and what they do.
