Congratulations to the Belmont Middle School Battle of the Books team for placing first in the district competition.
Belmont Middle wins fourth basketball title
Belmont Middle School captured its fourth Gaston County Conference basketball championship defeating previously unbeaten York Chester 42-34.
The victory marks Belmont’s fourth conference title. The school also won championships in 2001, 2011 and 2022.
Middle School Cheer Teams Shine at Showcase
Gaston County Schools held the annual Middle School Cheer Showcase on February 27 at Stuart W. Cramer High School.
The annual event highlights teamwork and school pride, and all teams were recognized for their enthusiasm, spirit and strong performances.

Congratulations to our football team for finishing the season undefeated and capturing the school’s seventh county championship title.
Providing care for students at school
Thanks to our partnership with Kintegra Health, we offer a telehealth clinic here at our school. Students, who are experiencing a minor illness or condition, can be seen by a medical provider virtually.

We invite all seventh and eighth grade parents and students to join us for our open house on Monday, August 10 from 5:30-7:00 p.m.
We invite all sixth grade parents and students to join us for Camp Wildcat on Thursday, August 6. Students with last names A-K should attend from 3:00-4:30 p.m., and students with last names L-Z should attend from 5:00-6:30 p.m. This event is a great opportunity to pick up your schedule, meet your teachers, tour the campus, meet administrators and staff, and learn about the programs and activities available for students.
